Job Summary

The Professional Advisory Services Manager is responsible for building and overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of a team of Human Capital Management (HCM) specialists. As a leader, the Advisory Services Manager provides coaching, mentoring, and team leadership to ensure the team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct client support, including Payroll for Hire and HCM Advisory Services
  • Project management in areas such as Payroll, HR, and Time and Attendance
  • Ensuring outstanding client experience in each Professional Services engagement
  • Managing client relationships to achieve excellent levels of client satisfaction
  • Coaching team members on problem resolution strategies, client handling strategies, and project management
  • Determining how to assist team members in filling their skill set gaps
  • Responding to escalated client questions or issues and managing critical accounts
  • Project staffing needs and budget requirements
  • Developing internal relationships with critical areas such as Sales, Service, etc.
  • Coaching direct reports, including performance appraisals, training suggestions, and conflict resolution
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, coach, and mentor a team of professionals
  • Strength in People Management, Project Management, and Client Relationship
  • Expert planning skills and ability to negotiate project scopes, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively oversee multiple PS projects with varying complexities
  • Experience in ensuring project completion is within defined scope, on schedule, and has met or exceeded client expectations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management, HCM, and/or Payroll related experience
  • Knowledge of Implementation processes and practices
  • Excellent team building skills with both external and internal clients
  • Client Relationship Management skills
