Job Overview:
We are in search of a Shop Hand to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate should possess a Class 3 license, a clean driving record, and a willingness to acquire new skills. This position requires both independent work and collaboration with fellow team members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Clean both the interior and exterior of trucks and trailers.
  • Repair and install tires as necessary.
  • Operate service trucks to various locations for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Assist technicians with various duties as required.
  • Conduct seasonal maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in safety meetings and inspections.
  • Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
  • Utilize computer skills for diverse tasks.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manually handle materials.
  • Perform repetitive motions.
  • Frequently bend or twist the body.

Work Environment:

  • Work both indoors and outdoors, often in non-climate-controlled settings.
  • Use standard safety equipment.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemical substances.
  • Work in extreme temperature conditions.
  • Operate potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, and tools.
  • Exposure to loud noises and risk of skin injuries.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous.
  • Class 3 license with Air Endorsement required.
  • Class 1 license is considered an asset.
  • Clean driving record.
