Landscaping Manager

A.K. Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Landscaping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and planting.
- Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring budget and timeline are met.
- Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring high-quality results.
- Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
The Landscaping Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. The role involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as working in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements:- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
- English language proficiency.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Judgement and decision-making skills.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
