About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to join our team at Sagittarius Cargo Services. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain management.

Coordinate and Manage Teams

Organize and manage a team of 5-10 people to ensure the efficient execution of tasks and projects.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Organize and maintain inventory, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Ensure Compliance and Safety

Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and that a safe working environment is maintained.

Monitor and Analyze Performance

Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain management.

Security and Safety

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. The ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is also required.
