Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring the day-to-day activities of team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate breaks and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, including inventory management and cash handling.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new team members and ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Starbucks' high standards for quality and customer experience.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to Starbucks' HACCP standards.
  • Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
  • Food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods, as well as lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water and water-diluted chemical solutions.
