Position Overview

The role of a Welder Helper involves assisting in the metal fabrication process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications.

Essential Qualifications
  • No formal education is necessary, although prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Work Environment
  • Expect a work setting that is dusty, hot, and noisy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize metal cleaning machinery to eliminate excess material from metal components.
  • Submerge metal items in cleaning solutions for thorough cleansing.
  • Support fellow metalworkers in various tasks.
  • Organize and categorize metal sheets and components.
  • Employ grinding or chipping techniques to remove surplus metal.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and workspaces.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials.
  • Polish metal items to achieve a finished look.
  • Interpret and follow work orders accurately.
Transportation Accessibility
  • Public transportation options are available for commuting.
Required Skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong manual dexterity is essential.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for quality assurance.
