Position Overview

MATHARU WELDING & FABRICATION BUMPERS is seeking a dedicated Skilled Welding Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and metal fabrication, ensuring high-quality standards in all tasks.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications accurately.
  • Operate both manual and automated welding equipment effectively.
  • Read and understand welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals.
  • Examine welds to confirm compliance with established standards.
  • Utilize manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment as needed.
  • Operate various metal shaping and bending machines.
  • Assess the weldability of different materials.
  • Handle hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
  • Fabricate or repair metal components using set-up welding machines.
  • Perform brazing or soldering tasks to bond metal parts.
  • Manage robotic welding production lines, including start-up and monitoring.
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on welding equipment.
Safety and Security
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check is required.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
  • Repetitive tasks may be involved.
  • Must be able to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods is necessary.
