Trotter & Morton Facility Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Journeyman Plumber. This position reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance contracts, along with the modification, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyman Plumber certification and have experience in a mechanical service environment. This role requires the ability to follow instructions effectively, excellent time management capabilities, and strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues. We expect this individual to adapt to our rigorous business model that has been pivotal to our ongoing success.

We also welcome applications from 3rd or 4th year apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze work orders to identify issues, determine necessary services, and procure replacement parts.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs in commercial facilities, common areas of condo towers, and tenant spaces.
  • Perform repairs on furnaces, hot water tanks, and boilers as needed.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and provide recommendations for more complex issues.
  • Identify deficiencies in other units and report findings to the Service Manager.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to tenants.
  • Prepare estimates for clients.
  • Mentor and guide apprentices.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
