Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Settlement Worker to join our team at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. The successful candidate will provide support to newcomers and refugees, helping them to settle and integrate into Canadian society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with education and employment goals, including resume building and job search strategies
  • Provide information and referrals on community resources, including education, healthcare, and social services
  • Facilitate cultural orientation and language training programs
  • Collaborate with community partners to develop and deliver settlement services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and program outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, community development, or international relations
  • 2 years of experience working with diverse communities, preferably in a settlement or refugee support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
