We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Hut Wasaga Beach. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet customer demands.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Order supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent oral communication skills to effectively train staff and communicate with customers.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours, including weekends and holidays.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to prepare and cook meals for our customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
