We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Pizza Hut Wasaga Beach. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and cooked safely.
- Teamwork: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and hygienic at all times.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience is preferred, but not required.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
