  • Thaw frozen food items in the refrigerator prior to cooking
  • Ensure proper presentation, portioning, and garnishing of dishes
  • Maintain accurate food logs and records
  • Oversee the quality and quantity of food being prepared
  • Communicate effectively during peak service times
  • Notify the Chef about surplus food items for daily specials
  • Update staff on menu highlights and unavailable items
  • Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality benchmarks
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, scheduling, and motivation of team members
  • Adhere to company policies and safety regulations
  • Anticipate and respond to guests' service requirements
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
  • Related Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required
  • License or Certification: None necessary
