Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • Pack fruits and vegetables
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
  • Weeding
  • Clean work area
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
Work Environment:

As a General Labourer, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, working under pressure, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to work outdoors in organic farming conditions.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and physical stamina
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in farming or agriculture
  • Knowledge of organic farming practices
  • Ability to speak English
