Job Title: Transport Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Driver to join our team at SANKARS LOGISTICS INC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Drive a transport truck to transport goods across various locations, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods from the transport truck, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure that the transport truck is in good working condition, and address any issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation, preferably in a long-haul or international setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and a strong attention to detail.
