Your Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the digital landscape of our projects. You will collaborate closely with our VDC Leadership team to develop and implement BIM Execution Plans and VDC strategies that drive efficiency and excellence throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the VDC Leadership team to establish a comprehensive BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Interpret and utilize Owner BIM/Employer Information Requirements (EIR) to prepare model-based deliverables using a suite of specialized software tools.
  • Develop innovative project-specific workflows that leverage BIM data for estimating, logistics planning, scheduling (4D), coordination, field layout, and management.
  • Utilize your 3D modeling expertise to create accurate representations of Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Construction Logistics elements, facilitating visualization and coordination.
  • Implement reality capture techniques using LiDAR, drones, and 360 photography to integrate models, perform QA/QC analysis, and generate insightful visualizations.
  • Contribute to software testing, R&D initiatives, and continuous professional development, staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop model-based design solutions, conduct constructability reviews, perform clash detection, and visualize potential issues.
  • Generate construction documents and drawings from BIM models, adhering to standardized details and workflows.
Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A University degree or Technology Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, M&E, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience specializing in BIM Management, modeling, and technologies, preferably within an on-site construction environment.
  • A strong understanding of design and construction drawings, with the ability to interpret complex technical information accurately.
  • Certification as an RPAS (Drone) Operator or the willingness to obtain certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
  • Experience with Autodesk BIM360, Revizto, Synchro Pro, or other relevant BIM-related software is highly desirable.
