Job Title: CG Senior Modeling Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled CG Senior Modeling Artist to join our team at Atomic Cartoons. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models from scratch, meeting technical and aesthetic standards for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create show-style models from scratch, ensuring they meet all technical and aesthetic standards.
  • Work independently to complete tasks within production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Look Development Artists to ensure models work smoothly within the Look Development pipeline.
  • Work closely with the Riggers to ensure models work smoothly within the Rigging pipeline.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and directors to deliver changes efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of industry experience in Animation and/or Visual Effects.
  • Proficient in Maya, Zbrush, and/or Mudbox.
  • Ability to create complex and accurate models from 2D reference or scan data.
  • Excellent understanding of clean line-flow and basic understanding of environments.
  • Background in visual arts/design with a strong understanding of form, geometry, and movement.
  • Excellent visual skills and attention to detail.
  • Maintains or exceeds a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines.
