Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Trans 99 Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Plan and execute the transportation of goods, including loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, including scheduling, routing, and inventory management.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 5-10 drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including hours of service, weight and size restrictions, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver at Trans 99 Logistics, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and make decisions quickly to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
