Job Title: Profit Centre Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Profit Centre Manager to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Profit Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading all business operations at the Profit Centre, driving growth while sustaining consistent profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals
  • Recruit, develop, train, coach, evaluate, and manage the Profit Centre Team to ensure they meet or exceed sales and profit targets
  • Analyze financial reports and information to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to increase sales and margins
  • Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Ensure the Profit Centre meets or exceeds service expectations of customers
  • Take ownership of all marketing plans and purchasing agreements
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain all Profit Centre assets
Requirements:
  • College and/or University degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of wholesale distribution experience
  • A minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Driven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make sound business judgments
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Experience using Trend and Eclipse
