Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at Saint Elizabeth Health Care. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the efficient and effective coordination of client care.

About the Role:

  • Provide schedule planning support to healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Appropriately schedule staff to meet client needs
  • Update and maintain electronic client databases
  • File and maintain client records
  • Perform data entry of client, employee, and billing information
  • Respond to caller inquiries with efficiency and urgency
  • Support billing activities
  • Generate and distribute scheduling and billing reports
  • Investigate and follow up on errors or discrepancies in services ordered or provided

Requirements:

  • Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends
  • Intermediate data entry and keyboarding skills
  • Experience using a PC database
  • Intermediate reading comprehension and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Good personal organizational skills
  • Courses in medical administration or healthcare training are preferred
  • Related work experience and familiarity with community healthcare services are preferred
  • Preference for French language skills
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel are preferred
