Your Role

As an HR Compliance Advisor, you will be an authority on human resources legislation and updates. Your role will involve interpreting and communicating critical compliance information to a diverse business audience through the development of documents, training materials, and other resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor HR legislative developments across Canadian jurisdictions, including both provincial and federal employment laws.
  • Identify significant changes that may impact Canadian businesses and assess necessary updates to existing content, as well as new content creation.
  • Draft clear, concise, and compliant materials such as policies, letters, forms, news articles, training scripts, and more.
  • Review and revise existing compliance documentation to ensure alignment with current employment-related regulations.

Qualifications

About You:

You are a professional who:

  • Has a proven track record in monitoring human resources legislation and identifying compliance issues.
  • Excels at interpreting complex legislative information and summarizing key points relevant to Canadian businesses.
  • Enjoys producing effective and compliant documentation.
  • Takes initiative to drive positive organizational change.
  • Possesses advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint is a plus.
  • Holds a post-secondary degree in social sciences, business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Brings at least five years of experience in a human resources role with compliance responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with legislation across Canada.
  • Professional writing experience.
  • A graduate degree or post-graduate certificate in human resource management.
  • Fluency in French.
