About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to implement exercise and education programs for seniors, focusing on increasing mobility, pain relief, and improving balance. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide a consistent approach to prevent falls, reduce injuries, and improve awareness of safety within the participant's daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to seniors' needs
- Monitor residents while utilizing exercise equipment and promote safe use
- Prepare and maintain progress reports and basic metrics on participants
- Support and participate in the development and implementation of programs and objectives
- Accurately collect data for reporting
- Degree in Kinesiology or diploma in PTA/OTA or other relative post-secondary education
- First Aid (CPR & AED) Certification
- Experience with seniors and group programming is an asset
- Reliable vehicle
- Mandatory requirement: fully vaccinated against COVID-19
