Position Overview

The role of a Kitchen Helper at Paddy's Oneil's involves essential support in our culinary operations. This position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen items, including dishwasher mats and waste disposal units, are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to effectively wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of food quantities used and assist in packaging take-out food.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, as well as portion and wrap foods as needed.
  • Stocking: Maintain stocked refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients.
  • Food Processing: Utilize manual and electrical appliances for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming foodstuffs.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean workspace.
  • Knife Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure proper functionality.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
