Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco switches and Next Generation Firewalls, such as Palo Alto; relevant Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or Palo Alto PCNSE are advantageous.
- Understanding of networking principles, including topologies, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, segmentation, and IP addressing.
- Knowledge of VPN connections and remote access solutions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, including zero trust, endpoint security, and monitoring tools.
- Participation in disaster recovery exercises, including configuration, implementation, and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and diverse tasks, all requiring timely delivery.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying information to IT and Cyber teams regarding change management processes.
- Experience in maintaining processes and playbooks; familiarity with changes to real-time operational systems is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to quickly learn new technologies and share knowledge with others.
- Flexibility in working hours, as changes may often occur during nighttime.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
