Job Title: Server, Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at The Waterford, a retirement living residence in Tsawwassen. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and guests in the dining room and lounges. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests
  • Prepare and serve food, beverages, and accompaniments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Deliver and pick up trays from resident suites as required
  • Carry out general cleaning duties and routines, including setting and cleaning of tables
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident needs and concerns
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year serving experience, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Food Safe Certificate required
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
