Your Role

Our Sarnia office is seeking a Lead Assurance Accountant to take charge of the following duties:

  • Efficiently manage year-end engagements and tax filings for clients across diverse sectors
  • Conduct audits, prepare working papers, and compile financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients and respond effectively to their inquiries and suggestions
  • Engage in business development efforts and identify new opportunities with current clients
  • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding project updates and challenges
  • Mentor staff and contribute to the professional growth of your team

Qualifications and Background

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • You have obtained your CPA designation
  • You bring at least 3 years of external audit experience within the public accounting sector
  • You value teamwork, client service, and meticulous work quality
  • You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
