Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Assembly and Data Entry: Process customer transactions, receive and release prescription requests, and record deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer patient inquiries, and promote pharmacy programs.
- Inventory Management: File prescriptions, order and replenish supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Supporting the Pharmacist: Assist the pharmacist with dispensary tasks, schedule professional clinical services, and perform behind-the-counter management tasks.
- Education: Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary Institute. Will consider applicants with 2 years retail Canadian Pharmacy Experience in lieu of certificate in some Provinces.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
