OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

  • Oversee train operations within the yard and along the mainline
  • Implement standardized procedures for train management
  • Drive performance in safety, service quality, productivity, and financial outcomes
  • Guide team members in adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Occasionally operate trains and assist with crew logistics

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in the railway sector and locomotive engineer certification preferred
  • Leadership experience in logistics or operational roles preferred
  • Willingness to work various shifts and in diverse weather conditions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in prioritizing tasks
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory
