Job Title: Employee and Family Assistance Counsellor

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team at the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board. As an Employee and Family Assistance Counsellor, you will provide support and guidance to employees and their families, helping them navigate personal and professional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide confidential counselling services to employees and their families
  • Assess and address employee well-being and mental health concerns
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote employee well-being and resilience
  • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to create a supportive work environment
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
