Job Title: Senior Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Global IT team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple key initiatives within the Global IT group, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and control all project management activities, including scope management, requirements management, coordinating technical design and development teams, testing, communication management, issue/risk management, budget, and resource management.
  • Provide leadership in PM processes and best practices to IT team members.
  • Ensure information and operational issues concerning project status (schedules, deliverables, costs, risks, issues) pass to-and-from stakeholders, project team, and management.
  • Own complete project life cycle from definition to completion, including deploying sustainable support models.
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate, lead, and influence teams that do not directly report to PM.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • 8-10+ years' experience in IT project management, PMP certified.
  • 3-5+ years' experience managing Salesforce projects.
  • Proficient in project management practices, a highly effective communicator, and experienced in dealing with managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Industrial Manufacturing, Building Supply sector experience an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise applications, including ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Salesforce Sales cloud/Service Cloud, Enterprise Content Management, and Collaboration.
  • Experienced with the use of PPM tools, such as Planview.
  • Experienced with managing deployments of externally procured solutions or development through the deployment of in-house built solutions.
  • Working project experience in global companies across various time zones.
