Eastern Group is seeking a reliable and physically demanding General Construction Labourer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced General Construction Labourer to work on various construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and assisting with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work and remove rubble and debris
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • 1-6 months of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Dependability, reliability, and a hardworking attitude
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in noisy and dusty conditions. They will be required to work in urban areas, high-rise building construction sites, and construction sites.
