About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at 1416879 BC LTD. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Placing Materials: Assist in mixing and placing materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
  • Site Assistance: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with the construction team to ensure timely completion.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have attention to detail, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Good hand-eye coordination is essential for tasks such as mixing and placing materials.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Work Schedule: The work schedule will be 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment opportunity.
  • Language: The primary language of work is English.
