Job Title: Chemical Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Engineer to join our team at Vogtech Renewables. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing chemical processes and systems that meet our company's high standards.

Job Summary:
  • Design and develop chemical processes and systems that meet our company's standards.
  • Conduct quality control on programs, procedures, and control strategies.
  • Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment.
  • Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies.
  • Develop guidelines and specifications for the handling of dangerous chemicals, environmental protection, or standards for foods, materials, and consumer goods.
  • Oversee the construction, modification, operation, and maintenance of pilot plants, processing units, or processing plants.
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders.
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers.
  • Commission systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Prepare design concepts, sketches, or models for approval.
  • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
