Job Title: Specialist, Supplier Relationship Management

At Financière Sun Life, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist, Supplier Relationship Management to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in managing our relationships with third-party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in various projects, including new technologies, processes, and practices, as well as service changes with our third-party suppliers.
  • Establish relationships and support the integration of operational activities with new suppliers.
  • Monitor Supplier Service Levels, defects, and trends to identify root causes and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by utilizing the Brighter Way Management System (BWMS) to drive change.
  • Review and analyze volumes to understand trends in demand.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to support production activities, including planning and scheduling, validating and testing changes, and issue management and resolution.

  • Experience supporting transactional print, commercial print, and/or tax production processes.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to understand how that detail fits into the bigger picture.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Word.
Assets:
  • In-depth knowledge of reporting tools (Microsoft Excel).
  • Supply Chain Certificate with a focus on contract experience, including understanding of pricing models.
  • Project Management skills or experience.
