Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and provide personal and nursing care, including wound management, IV therapy, catheter care, and pleurex drain management.
  • Administering medications via oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular routes in accordance with established pharmaceutical and organizational protocols.
  • Operating within the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as defined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), while adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and unit-specific protocols.
