Position Overview

As a key member of CIMA+'s Building Mechanics division, you will engage in a variety of projects across the Abitibi/Outaouais region. This role focuses on drafting for diverse projects in the residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.

Work Model
This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a combination of remote work and office presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and preparation of plans and specifications related to building mechanics.
  • Create models and plans utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software, transitioning from 2D to 3D formats.
  • Oversee the preparation and ensure the quality of technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines such as architecture, electrical, and structural engineering.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare relevant drawings.
  • Perform site visits to gather necessary data.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in building drafting or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in building engineering.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience in drafting for mechanical building projects is essential.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software is required.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French is necessary.
  • Possession of an ASP Construction card.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
