Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our team at the Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stationery purchasing and inventory for two departments
  • Coordinate with suppliers to follow up on purchase orders and maintain dynamic relations
  • Monitor grouped requisitions in the department's email box and arrange travel arrangements as needed
  • Maintain supplier lists in the IT system and send price requests to selected suppliers
  • Work with the coordinator to perform rigorous follow-up on files and sort and file documents according to established filing systems
  • Send and receive messages and documents by fax or email and assist with administrative procedures
  • Sort, verify, and process receipts, expenses, forms, and other documents as required
  • Participate in meetings where attendance is required and perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • Secondary V diploma or equivalent experience in office work
  • Ability to work in two of the three languages (Inuktitut, French, or English)
  • Two years of experience in an office environment and intermediate computer and Internet skills (Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Focus on customer service excellence, thoroughness, and attention to detail, organizational skills, and resourcefulness
