Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MB PAM INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and maintain accurate records of food orders.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • Experience in food service management or a related field is an asset.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
