As a Senior Representative - Inside Sales, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction at Wesco International, Inc. Your primary focus will be on interacting with existing customers, primarily through phone and email, to increase sales of our products and/or services. You will own a book of larger, more complex accounts and be proficient in all aspects of the inside sales process, with a focus on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand your current book of accounts. Collaboration with outside sales teams will be essential to ensure goals are being met.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
- Market products and offer value-added services to customers.
- Develop strong business relationships with existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
- Qualify and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Stay up-to-date on new products and competitive knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
- Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
- Lead and mentor other Inside Sales Representatives in processes, systems, and customer relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in Sales and Sales Administration (4-5 years).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts.
- Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and realistic understanding of issues.
- Ability to solve difficult and sometimes moderately complex problems.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred sales experience in electrical or distribution environment.
- Ability to travel 0% - 25%.
