About Us
Established in 1963, Strescon Limited has grown to become the largest precast, pre-stressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada. Its primary market covers the Atlantic Provinces, the New England region of the United States, and Bermuda. Strescon manufactures a wide range of both architectural and structural precast/prestressed concrete products including bridge girders, wall panels, complete parking garages, hollow-core planking, piling and deck slabs. Strescon presently has two facilities: 70,000 sq. ft. in a major Canadian city and 50,000 sq. ft. in another major Canadian city.
Our Operations
We operate two facilities: one for custom precast components and another for standard concrete products. Our custom precast facility is equipped to manufacture a wide range of products, including bridge girders, wall panels, and complete parking garages. Our standard concrete facility produces products such as pipe, manholes, and catch basins.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Lift and move materials for construction projects
- Build forms for precast concrete products
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- 1st Block in Carpentry or relevant experience
