The Cleaning Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the sanitation team, ensuring that all cleaning activities meet the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
- Recruit and train cleaning personnel or facilitate their training.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
- Coordinate cleaning activities with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the cleaning team.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
