About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Woodstock Grocers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Organize and maintain inventory levels, requisition materials, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Lead and Develop Team Members: Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of logistics team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
