About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Profit Centre Manager to lead our business operations at the Profit Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets
- Lead and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and support
- Analyze financial reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive business success
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage inventory, assets, and expenses to optimize profitability
- Perform other duties as required to support the success of the Profit Centre
Requirements:
- College and/or University degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of wholesale distribution experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Strong work ethic, high standard of integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to make sound business judgments
- Ability to create and nurture a positive team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience using Trend and Eclipse
