Apprentice Meat Cutter

Sebastian & Co, a renowned craft butcher, is seeking a skilled butcher to join its team in Vancouver. As a butcher, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and presenting high-quality meat products with attention to detail and technical expertise.
- Providing exceptional customer service, educating customers on the benefits of dry-aged meat, and sharing culinary ideas.
- Operating heavy-duty butchery equipment, including bandsaws, mixers/grinders, and patty machines.
- Assisting with daily shop tasks, such as cleaning and heavy lifting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent knife skills, a passion for food, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company. Experience as a professional butcher is a plus, but not required. We are committed to training the right individual with culinary training and a basic knowledge of butchery.
