About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Great Choice Meat & Poultry. As a key member of our butchery team, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting high-quality meats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality and presentation standards.
  • Meat Processing: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, as well as remove bones from meat.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing meat products.
Work Environment

As a Retail Meat Cutter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37 to 40 hours per week.
