About the Role

Fateh Merchandising Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our convenience store team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the store, including managing staff, controlling daily operations, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Operations: Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
  • Lead and Develop Staff: Manage and motivate a team of 3-4 employees, providing coaching, training, and performance reviews to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales. Implement price and credit policies, develop and implement marketing strategies, and plan budgets to monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Ensure Security and Safety: Conduct regular security and safety checks, and ensure that all employees are aware of and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized.
  • Resolve Issues: Respond to customer complaints, resolve issues, and ensure that all customers receive a high level of service.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or convenience store management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
