We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and linguistically skilled Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Amber. As a Russian Localization QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of localized text in various video games.
Key Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Russian to identify linguistic, visual, and cultural issues.
- Find and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles to improve the linguistic and translated content.
- Provide resolutions for errors reported and follow terminology guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team and report to the Test Lead.
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead as needed.
- Native-level language competency in Russian.
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada.
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology.
- Passion for video games and attention to detail.
- Professional competency in English.
