Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at IST Logistics Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials across the country. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours on the road
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GPS navigation and other communication systems
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
