Position Overview

The Bliss Group is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

The position is based in our head office, where you will work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balances
  • Reconcile accounts regularly
Technical Skills
