About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at 8463859 Canada Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide solutions to technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, user guides, and other resources as needed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of computer systems and software.
  • Log Management: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Project Participation: Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new applications and software.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technical support analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support services.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their technical inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ITIL, JavaOS, security software, project management software, website creation and management software, web service design, database software, software development, C++, and Oracle.
  • Specialization: Experience in e-commerce, security, and safety is an asset.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
