Position Overview: CB Canada is seeking a dedicated Control Specialist within the Mining Sector. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize electrical and automated systems within a production environment.
  • Lead the Electrical and Automation Teams to ensure effective Maintenance Management support.
  • Drive continuous improvements in automated processes to boost equipment performance in high-volume operations.
  • Ensure that functional design specifications are clearly understood and delivered punctually and within financial constraints.
  • Compile and present reports on equipment issues and other necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial process automation.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, instrumentation, process control, or electronics.
  • Proficient in creating technical documents, including shop drawings, operating manuals, training guides, equipment reports, and employee evaluations.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
  • Capable of working autonomously in a dynamic environment with limited supervision.
